Yesterday, 15 November 2018, release 2018.7.4 was integrated into AEM. This release included some upgrades and bug fixes, including some changes to the Publications component. Changes to the publications component include:

• an editor field to enable a search by a publication’s editor
• implementation of an new icon next to the Research Collection link intended to indicate that the citation has related publications or research data
• a new link that allows the display of abstracts for publications, if the information is available in RC
• new filters for subject and keyword (uses RC metadata fields)
• a new checkbox to limit publications to only show those that have been verified by the library (the default is to show all available)
• showing the full doi link instead of the acronym DOI
• expanding the component to display APA publication style, which is a Harvard parenthetical style
• two new publication types: presentations and patents
• the corrected implementation of publication types under the heading Edited Works
• a new ‘Include tab’ which can be used to add a publication manually to a list that would not normally appear in the standard configuration of the component or to build a custom list, via only the include tab and no other configuration, for showing specific publications on a page
• a fix for the application program interface (API) change that the library will implement for Research Collection (RC)
